Here is our new home for the next 3 months. No, I am kidding, but this is across the street! This is Columbia's campus and we live literally across the street from this place.
It is good to know that there is a lot of security around. :)

All in all our place is really great. There are a few strange things here and there (including an 8x10 picture of the female owner 9 months pregnant exposing her naked belly, along with old socks and underwear left in the dresser drawers.) but nothing we can't chuck into a box and hide for a bit.
So far today we have done some exploring, ate lunch at a little place down the street, and plan to clean this place (think dog hair and dust).
p.s. For those of you who don't know why we are in NYC, Miles is working here for the summer at a law firm. So far so good!
We did however, get invited over to our friends the Nelson's for some excellent Indian food and brownies! I made sure to take a picture of us on the subway... very awesome. ha.

It was a fun hike, with tons and tons of people. Some parts were scary so I wouldn't recommend the hike for kids younger than 10. The weather was a little chilly but perfect for hiking. Miles of course ran into some people he knew, but it was fun to have a vacation, just the two of us.
